The reality on the ground is still entrenched in the early adopter stages tho'. As you know many are using e-portfolios in dsicreet situations (mainly in the "health" and teaching dsiciplines). And that's obvious due to their need for continual reflections and experiential learning. Everyone else is still dipping their toes in the water. Early days still, but critical mass is not too far away. .gabberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14274535194621834929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1021853144754619326.post-34222996646063929922010-08-06T03:49:31.316+01:002010-08-06T03:49:31.316+01:00Hi Ray,

Many of the things that you mentioned in this post are what I'm looking into at the moment with my school. I have been thinking a lot about how it can be transferred to the student when they leave the school, and consider it very important. If a student realizes that it is theirs when they leave they will have more ownership over it and hopefully see it in a wider context than just school asking them to create one. This may also mean that we as schools are prepared for the students to have flexibility within their eportfolio to include a more personal angle. I ran a class trial last year that I'm extending out to more teachers, I have built a website and we look forward to using your blog as a resource.

Regards,
Andy

http://hkaeportfolios.weebly.com/rhinoabhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08467734134539434954noreply@blogger.com
